Solomia Stahiv is a Ukrainian musician and accomplished bandura player. A graduate of the bandura and piano studies in Lviv, she began her musical journey at an early age, joining the National Bandura Ensemble “Zoryanytsia” under the direction of Honored Artist of Ukraine, Zinovia Sychak. In addition to her work with the ensemble, Solomia
Solomia Stahiv is a Ukrainian musician and accomplished bandura player. In addition to her work with the ensemble, Solomia performed as a soloist in various genres and collaborated with a range of choirs and musical groups, further developing her artistry and versatility.
Now based in North America, Solomia continues to share her deep passion for Ukrainian music as a solo bandura performer and a member of the Women’s Bandura Ensemble of North America. She performs across the United States and Canada, captivating audiences with a unique blend of traditional and modern styles on the bandura. Through her performances, Solomia promotes Ukrainian culture, highlighting the instrument’s versatility and its deep cultural roots.
Solomia is also the co-founder of BandurArts, a charitable organization committed to promoting and preserving the art of the bandura and supporting the next generation of Ukrainian musicians.

Taisa Kulyk is a Philadelphia-based banduristka and vocalist. Her music blends folk, jazz, and pop, sharing the sound of the bandura with new audiences while honoring its legacy as a symbol of resilience, resistance, and artistry. Taisa is a member of the Women’s Bandura Ensemble of North America, and she also teaches at the Hryhory Kytasty School of Bandura and Kobzars’ka Sich Bandura Camp.

Alina Chemerys is a Ukrainian bandura player, musician, and certified music educator based in North America. Her musical journey began in childhood and developed through years of study, performance, and dedication to Ukrainian musical traditions.

Alina combines a love for Ukrainian music, live performance, and a desire to share Ukrainian culture through the contemporary sound of the bandura.
She is a member of the Chicago Bandura Ensemble and the Women’s Bandura Ensemble of North America. Alina is also a co-founder of ALVIYA Bandura Trio, with which she performs at concerts and cultural events.
Through her music, Alina aims to promote Ukrainian culture and share the beauty and unique sound of the bandura with modern audiences.
